Never left the house since Thursday. It was sort of frustrating because I was supposed to be back home to Iloilo but the weather was too rough, so I didn't risk traveling by sea.

Anyway, I tried this app called, "DSLR Remote" on my iPod. I've downloaded the free version before but only had the chance to use it earlier. I was very much impressed. It did what the product said so though there were a lot of limitations since I only got the free version. With the full app, you can change different settings like the ISO, aperture, white balance, and shutter speed; and be able to see a live view of the whole thing. With the free one though, you can basically just trigger the shutter and see a preview of the shot that you just took. I'm fine with that because the full version costs 11 pounds. :| I had a huge problem with the auto focus and these were the only decent shots that I got out of like, 20 photos.

Accompanied CJ to a clinic earlier. I coerced him to have his lump/cysts checked because it has been in a bad shape for a week. I was supposed to go home to Iloilo today, but I decided to just take a different trip tomorrow. I thought he might have a minor surgery today as well so being his ever supporting girlfriend *cough*, I have to be there for him. Thank god the doctor was out today. Rizal Day! *duh*

So anyway, I downloaded free films for Hipstamatic from Nike sometime last week. They are special ones for B&W, the AO DLX and AO BW. I tried AO BW first and here were my shots:

I'm sick for a few days now but I couldn't rest my mind on the thought that my blog has been idle for a few days. Last Sunday, me and my cousins went to Trappist Monastery in Guimaras for a little thanksgiving. My cousins were to leave the country the following day so they insisted that we should visit Trappist for the last time. We went there around 4 in the afternoon, which was too late because the monastery's store was already close when we got there. We wanted to pray at the chapel but a mass was being held. We didn't join in because we know that we won't be staying long. so we just took photos of each other at the monastery grounds instead. I wish I could post their pictures here but my cousins are very private people. CHOS! hihihi! but they were the same cousins that I went to Cebu with :)

My blog turns a month old today! Though I have been using blogger since last year, this is the only blog that have survived my procrastination. I wanted to post something rewarding but sort of misplaced my memory card today, so I wasn't able to take photos when we went out earlier. BUT since I already found my card, I considered posting a self-portrait instead. :) So feast on my ugly face. bwahahaha!

Thanks to all of you guys who believed in me especially to you, Mom! :D You know that I wouldn't be able to further explore my capabilities in photography without your support! Your my #1 fan! hahaha! lol joke, but seriously ma. ;) I owe all of this to you mom... and also to all of you internet kids who clicked/viewed my blog 900+ times this month!!! Yay! This is a sign that I can definitely fight my procrastination. :) *cyber hug*
