I am Katrina Escalona – Sia, also known to the internet as curiouskatrina, a photography hobbyist, part-time registered nurse, and a full-time mom. I am currently based in Bacolod City, Philippines, living in a humble home with my husband’s family and two canine pets. We love summer, visiting new places, and trying out new food.

I have always been interested in photography. In 2011, I used to work part-time as a wedding photographer but the gig did not last long as I had to continue with my profession as a registered nurse. These days, I take photos for personal use and as a blogger, sharing these photos to my readers give story telling a new meaning. I may not always be that good when expressing my thoughts in written form so photographs fill in the gaps for me.

Curious Little Kat started as my online nook where I would post photos from current projects or trips to show to my family and friends (because you cannot upload high-quality photos on Facebook way back then). Since 2010, I would say that this blog have evolved creatively. Now, I write mostly about our day-to-day experiences as a new family while sharing a few tidbits of things that I am currently excited about.
