Nesting!

Tuesday, January 22, 2013
Sorry if I have been MIA for a few weeks. Since my admission to the hospital, I've spend most of my time nesting hoping to prepare ourselves in case the baby goes out ahead of time. We don't have a spare room to build a nursery so we just tried our very best to make our bedroom baby friendly - and it meant scrubbing the floor tiles, washing off some of the wall stains, and dusting every corner of the room. And who would have thought that washing tons of baby clothes isn't as easy as it seems. I mean, onesies are the trickiest ones to fold esp those with long sleeves and closed toes. They look so delicate I just didn't want any crease on them. Also, choosing which clothes to bring to the hospital is very tricky. Can't I just bring everything?? hahaha! Anyway, we've just reached our full term and le baby Caileigh is free to go out anytime from now! So... wish me luck! Hopefully I could take some time to update my blog before everything gets busy :D

Not now, not yet.

Sorry if I have gone MIA lately. We were only supposed to do a follow-up test but I ended up being admitted at the hospital. We're only on our 31st week then and the doctors feared that my contractions might progress and I'd have to deliver our baby prematurely - which will be a big risk considering the baby's underdeveloped physique. What we thought was a 2-day stay at the hospital turned out to be a week. I was transferred from the ward to the DR for close observation several times and never realized the seriousness of my / our condition until the eve of our 4th day. BUT we're very glad that everything is fine now. We even had the chance to see and confirm again our baby's gender via ultrasound and oh my, what big eyes she has!! I think we (CJ and I) were in good spirits after seeing our little Caileigh, that everything will indeed turn out fine and well. I'm home now and still on bed rest for an indefinite period of time. Might be on bed rest until we're already on term but whatever the hindrances, we'll follow everything just for the baby's safety. Guess I'll be celebrating New Year's Eve in my bed :D

Anyway, here are the photos that I've managed to take during my stay at the hospital. Thanks to those who followed and left comments on my previous posts. Will check your blogs soon :)

Christ College, Cambridge

Friday, December 7, 2012
I'm supposed to be on bed rest for a week and since I don't have that much to do while lying down (my mobile phone battery couldn't last a day, I tell you) I decided to play with Snapseed's new app update! They look really neat on my phone but now the quality looks a little meh. But anyway, enjoy these photos that I got from Christ College, Cambridge University - if I haven't mistaken.
