Antique: Pandan Beach Resort

3:54 PM

This summer, we were so blessed to be able to travel and discover new places. From our Negros tour last May, we hopped on to Iloilo to meet our relatives who came home from Canada for our cousin's wedding.
They say it's always sunny in the Philippines except even during the monsoons. So even if it's already typhoon season in the country for the month of June, we still took the opportunity to visit beaches and tourist spots.

This time we went to our neighboring province of Antique. We spent almost 5 hours of driving along the coast of Antique. The beach on your left and its gracious mountains on the other side. It was a very tedious drive but the view was all worth it.

Right after we got off the van

We left from the Iloilo-Antique terminal in Molo past 10 AM. We rode a van / shuttle service for 250Php/pax. We got to Pandan, Antique at 4pm. We then hired a tricycle who was kind enough to bring us to there public market then to our resort for only 15Php each.

This is my cousin Karla who did all the transactions for the hotel and our package tours. They chose an air-conditioned room that can cater all five of us for Php2,000. Actually, we only wanted that room because of the free wifi! hahaha!

This is the resort's backpacker dorms (if I've not mistaken) and our's is the first door from the left. In front of our room is a cottage where we think they do their spa services because they have these really nice lounge chairs and massage beds.

Here is Caileigh, declaring this chair her own territory.

And they also have a pet dog!
Caileigh definitely loving the beachfront view

Since it was already too late to go on a tour, we took a dip in the beach. It wasn't really the most inviting beach but the view of the mountains won us.

The waves were a little rough that time so we resorted to picking beautiful stones and shells at the shore.
Overall, we enjoyed our short stay at Pandan Beach Resort. But, are we going back? hhhmm, maybe yes, but not in the near future.
