An Aunt of mine, or rather a Tita, as we call it in the Philippines, was home for a few months last November. To celebrate togetherness, we went to Garin Farm in San Joaquin, Iloilo. Though it may be a little far from the city, it gained it's popularity by fusing agriculture, leisure, and pilgrimage in a 14-hectare inland resort.
My husband and I are great food lovers and though we may not have remarkable culinary talents, we share the same interest in cooking. So in imagining my dream house, I would always picture it with a spacious kitchen or at least one that is neatly organized and specifically designed to be functional.
Caileigh loves to swim and to wander around in a playground. Which is why on her third birthday, it made sense to bring her to the mountains.
Campuestohan is a well known inland resort in Negros Occidental. Strategically built at the foot of a mountain, high enough to experience lower temperatures and feel the clouds when they sometimes pass by. It is very popular for family outings and such as they have two huge playgrounds for the kids, challenging activities (zip line, obstacle course, hanging bicycle rides, etc) for the adults, and two separate swimming pools for everyone.
A gigantic and very mad gorilla with the beautiful mountains behind him. We were blessed to visit Campuestohan on a sunny day. The last time we went there, it rained and it was too foggy as the clouds were really low that time. It was good hanging out under the sun this time.
The resort is also constructing a wave pool and new activity areas. You can see a portion of it behind us.

Caileigh and I went for a swim but we got out after about 15 minutes because the water was too cold. Bbrrrrr
They call this the Cable Hamster Wheel, the first on its kind and the only existing one in the whole world. You have to roll the circular cage by walking on it, like how a hamsters would, while having a view of the whole resort from a higher perspective.

Another round for Just Caileigh! They are all actually just photos of Caileigh frolicking around when we went to Campuestohan Highland Resort. We stayed at the playground at the northern end of the resort and she had the whole area just to herself! What a treat for the birthday girl!
Our friends know how much of a private person CJ is. He rarely posts on Facebook and if he has photos in his timeline, most of them are probably tagged posts from my page.
When it comes to taking photographs, he rarely takes self portraits and would always prefer to take selfies with a group rather than on his own. That's why when we went out of town for our daughter Caileigh's birthday, I was quite very impressed with the selfies that he came out with.
Caileigh turned three this month!!! We know how much she loves Peppa Pig so we threw her a party to celebrate her day.
Peppa Pig is just like any other toddler. Playful, curious, and often most of the time, a little naughty. She has her Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig, and a little brother called, George. She goes to playschool with other anthropomorphic animal friends. She's the closest with Suzie Sheep and Rebecca Rabbit. It's a British show and Caileigh just loves listening to how they speak. At some point, she has called me her Mommy Pig, and has made numerous references to the show like how she'd love to eat chocolate cake because it's Daddy Pig's favorite and saying "not very well" as Peppa said when she had the flu. I can go on all day telling you stories how much Caileigh loves Peppa Pig. (She has a set of Peppa Pig knickers and always wears them first)
