New Portfolio site!

After some site dilemmas I finally had my portfolio transferred wix. It's a flash site - I hate flash sites. They load very slowly when the site has a lot of photos! but wix is probably the most user-friendly site that I know when it comes to personalizing lay-outs and such so I gave it another go. I hosted my portfolio there before - and I went all crazy with the layout (my bad probably why it always took ages for everything to load) but now I really tried to make it as simple as possible.

Favorites and Site Dilemmas

I have been wanting to revamp my portfolio for a looooong time but never had the chance to do it. So today I compiled a few of my photos that I'll be putting up on my site and just wanted to share my favorites!

Btw, I've been looking for a nice horizontal scrolling template for any free blogging/portfolio site (blogger, tumblr, etc) because I can't seem to choose from the ones that cargocollective has. Been drooling on Ms. May's portfolio. I've found free ones but they're for wordpress and I'm not familiar with the site :( I don't want to hire a web designer because I don't think I have the moolah for the job. Dilemma forever.

Tamarind

because we love to eat and explore the wonders of Asian cuisine, we gave Tamarind a try. It's a thai restaurant than opened a few months ago which I find to be very, visually, inviting. So with our hungry selves and craving for anything spicy, we went there earlier this day.

The place was cozy. I was expecting more costumers but it was fine that we somehow seemed to "own" the place :)) I chose the dishes for CJ and picked Red Beef Curry (that was very yummy), Stir Fried Noodles with Chinese Sausages, and Thai Iced Tea.

Green on purple! and the lovely Thai Iced Tea that was probably brewed from the heavens :))

Different Levels of Boredom

shameless self portrait. I guess there's really nothing else but boredom that inspired me to do this.

This is Terry Richardson in colored. He's my peg for the over-exposed photos. I felt a little pang of hurt when I saw my photos too bright but for Terry, okay, I'll do it.

btw, I edited the photos on my laptop and the brightness was on a satisfying level but when I opened the photos on a PC, they looked over done to me. I asked a friends on tumblr to give me some feedback because I had doubts that maybe it was just on the monitor that we're using and most of them said that the photos look okay, so just leave me a comment if the photos are too painful to look at. Thanks! xx
