Took this photos when I was still in Bacolod. I was so bored that time and was desperately looking for something to bother me. I saw this Children's Encyclopedia where it has a series of "common" inquiries about almost everything (matter, the Earth, History, Anatomy, Biology, etc) with scientifically based answers. A few of them caught my attention and I thought, a lot of grown ups are still caught up in these questions. I'm a sucker for films, but films very loved me so I had this photos processed to look like they're film pictures.

Blue Moon
Wednesday, April 28, 2010
I was so fascinated at how big - and bright - the moon was last night even if it was just a day before full moon. So I took pictures of it using a 75-300mm lens which I just borrowed and here are the results :)
Took this around 10-11 in the evening. It was cloudy that night but nonetheless, I was able to take a good photo of it. yay!
Settings:
Shutter: 1/500 sec.
Aperture f/10
ISO 400
Here's my mock of Blue Moon.
I post processed it using Adobe CS2 and added a blue filter. You can still see a few noise in this photo. I know I suck in post processing. This one's a different photo, by the way.

I smell something FISHY
Sunday, April 25, 2010
There was this online shop that my friend Arsteen found over multiply which sells different kinds of camera accessories that we've been eyeing for. Just this Wednesday, I ordered a few filters, and a fish eye lens, and two infrared remote shutter control (for me and Arsteen) then sent my payment on Thursday, notified the seller on Friday, and just this afternoon, I already got my package!!! SUPER YAY! Ang bilis dumating! :)
Here are our test shots for the lovely fish eye lens.

Street Fighter COSPLAY!
Friday, April 23, 2010
Did a cosplay shoot with the Evangelista siblings. It was my first time to shoot portraits since my mom bought me a nice camera so basically I was soooo nervous before the shot. I think it turned out great naman. Here's Von Fritz Evangelista as Ryu and Metuzellah Evangelista as Chun Li. :)
Here comes the fighting scenes...
... and KO! Yay, Chun Li wins!
or did not.
We were looking around their village to for a different venue to shoot when Von showed me this place where we found a few Chinese bamboos and a mini forest nearby. I immediately fell in love with the place. I wish to go back there to shoot more portraits next time. :)
And now for the wacky shots!
It has been a great experience to shoot with them. We started around 4:30pm which was great because I had the chance to take advantage of the sunset for our lighting. I believe that they have portrayed their characters very well. They were so natural that I just had to take a shot of their every move. No need to cue them to pose like this or what.
I'm looking forward to their next cosplay since they'll be doing ONE PIECE!
weeeeeeeeh!
That's me with von, by the way. :)

Caribbean
Tuesday, April 20, 2010
Because it was someone's birthday earlier, the family went to Caribbean, an inland resort, here in Bacolod City for night swimming. Since I was busy enjoying the water, I only had a few photos from tonight's celebration. Will update when CJ's brother has already posted pictures of us soaking swimming.
I believe this is Poseidon, god of sea and earthquakes. We swam there... yes, in that 3+ ft. pool. *giggles like a kid*
This is Mica (left) and Callel (right). They're so cute together. Whatcha think?

Monday Afternoon
Because I'm home alone and I'm pretty bored, here's a compilation of random photos that I got from my Flickr. I took these photos using a simple digicam.
